Belleair Design Group is founded by Chris Kirschner, AIA, working out of a 1,200 SF office in Belleair, Florida.

2000

Belleair Design Group officially becomes “BDG Architects.”

2006

Firm moves from Clearwater to downtown Tampa, Florida.

August 2013

Urban Studio Architects, a Tampa-based firm formed in 1989, joined BDG Architects.

December 2013

BDG Architects and PKA Architects located in downtown Birmingham, Alabama join forces.

2015

Launch of our rebranded logo.

September 2018

Opening of Charlotte, North Carolina office.

December 2020

BDG forms a strategic partnership with FleischmanGarciaMaslowski (FG+M).

October 2021

Opening of Jacksonville, Florida office.

September 2022

BDG and Parker Walter Group (PWG) announce the joining of their teams.

February 2023

CPL collaborates with BDG Architects to expand services in the Southeast.
