The former District 3 Event Space in downtown Tampa, Florida underwent a “Black Box” renovation to temporarily transform into the interactive art exhibit “The Art of the Brick” by LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya. BDG Architects provided design, documentation, and construction administration to ensure that the facility met jurisdictional requirements for life safety issues while accommodating all aesthetic and functional needs of the installation.
