Bank Branch Architecture Built on Decades of Financial Services Experience

From single-branch renovations to nationwide prototype roll-outs, BDG Architects has spent more than 30 years designing the spaces banks and financial institutions build their businesses in.

Our financial services architecture team provides retail bank branch design, prototype development, branch modernization, due diligence, site investigations, space planning, interior design, and multi-location implementation for regional and national financial institutions.

Brand Standards Through Kit of Parts

BDG works to develop a Kit of Parts to document a curated library of standardized design developments. These Kit of Parts create a cohesive, flexible, and scalable environment across multiple locations. By establishing consistent architectural elements, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and planning modules, each retail branch space maintains a unified brand identity while allowing the flexibility to adapt to varying site conditions, operational requirements, and customer needs. This modular approach streamlines decision-making, improves design efficiency, and accelerates project delivery without compromising quality or experience. The Kit of Parts protects brand identity for the Financial Institution while also controlling cost.

Branch Conversion & Brand Integration

BDG Architects is a proven expert in helping financial institutions grow through acquisition. Maintaining a consistent brand and customer experience across the network becomes essential. BDG has extensive experience supporting branch conversion programs by evaluating acquired facilities and implementing the design standards, operational requirements, and brand elements of the acquiring institution. From exterior identity updates to interior renovations and prototype integration, BDG works to transform acquired branches into seamless extensions of the existing network.
