Mark Chmielewski leads BDG Architects’ Design Studio, overseeing teams in Tampa and Sarasota with a focus on complex multi-family and mixed-use developments throughout Florida and beyond. His experience spans luxury high-rise residential towers, affordable and workforce housing communities, adaptive reuse projects, student housing, and large-scale mixed-use districts, bringing a deep understanding of both design execution and technical project delivery.
Known for his technical expertise and collaborative leadership style, Mark combines strong design sensibilities with advanced knowledge of constructability, BIM workflows, and project coordination. Brian brings more than 40 years of architectural design experience leading transformative multi-family and mixed-use developments throughout the Tampa Bay region. His portfolio spans luxury residential communities, affordable and workforce housing, senior living, urban infill developments, and large-scale mixed-use districts, with a design approach centered on creating vibrant, lasting communities that balance functionality, sustainability, and market appeal. His multi-family experience includes projects ranging from high-density urban developments such as Grand Central at Kennedy to affordable and workforce housing communities including Catchlight Crossings, Metro 510, and Haley Park. Recognized for his thoughtful and practical design leadership, Brian combines extensive knowledge of contemporary construction systems with a strong understanding of sustainable and wellness-focused design strategies. As a LEED AP and WELL AP professional, he emphasizes solutions that improve building performance, resident experience, and long-term project value. His experience across hospitality, restaurant, and master planning projects further strengthens his ability to create multi-family communities that are engaging, amenity-driven, and connected to the surrounding urban fabric.

Anne Marie brings more than 20 years of architectural experience with a strong focus on multi-family, student housing, and mixed-use developments across the Southeast. Throughout her career, she has contributed to more than $300 million in multi-family construction, leading projects that range from affordable and senior housing communities to large-scale student-oriented developments and mixed-use residential environments. Her portfolio includes a diverse range of housing types, including Lake Bluetail in Riverview, senior living communities such as The Loveland Senior Center in Venice, and multiple student housing developments throughout Alabama and Louisiana. Anne Marie’s experience also includes adaptive reuse and mission-driven housing projects like Valor Grove, which provides supportive housing for veterans through the integration of historic preservation and new construction. Her work consistently emphasizes livability, efficient planning, and amenity-rich environments tailored to the needs of residents and surrounding communities. Known for her collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, Anne Marie excels at managing complex projects while balancing client goals, project budgets, and design quality. Holly’s multi-family experience ranges from podium and wrap apartment communities to large-scale mixed-use developments that integrate residential, retail, hospitality, and public gathering spaces. She is known for her ability to guide projects from early visioning through execution while balancing design quality, market demands, operational efficiency, and placemaking. With a background spanning architecture, engineering, interior design, and business, Holly brings a multidisciplinary perspective to every project. Her leadership style emphasizes collaboration, communication, and attention to detail, helping clients navigate complex developments while creating environments that are both highly functional and community-centered.
