Alyssa is an Architecture Associate with a passion for the intersection of design, history, and the arts. Originally from Smithfield, North Carolina, she earned both her BA in Architecture and MS in Architecture with a concentration in Critical Heritage Studies from UNC Charlotte. This combination of public history and architecture sparked her interest in historic preservation and adaptive reuse. Outside of work, Alyssa is a crochet artist who freehands unique clothing pieces, a devoted dog lover who has owned up to four dogs at once, and an avid traveler. So far, the most interesting city she’s visited is Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
