With more than two decades of architecture and interior design experience, Shilpa’s portfolio spans educational institutions, life sciences facilities, assisted living communities, restaurants, and custom residential properties. Originally from Mumbai, India, she developed an early appreciation for architecture while growing up surrounded by the city’s rich collection of British colonial-era buildings and historic urban fabric. After moving to New York City in 2003, Shilpa built a diverse portfolio and has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to guide projects from concept through construction. She is passionate about creating thoughtful, functional, and enduring spaces that balance design, technical precision, and the needs of the people who use them. Outside of work, Shilpa enjoys spending time with her family and reading, particularly historical fiction and books focused on personal growth and self-improvement.
