Upon entering the AEC industry in 1992, Tom worked for an architectural firm in Massachusetts for four years before relocating to Sarasota, Florida, in 1996. For the next 29 years, Tom had the privilege of working for Sarasota-based Parker Walter Group, contributing to diverse project types, including retail, medical and business offices, restaurants, multi-family, mixed-use projects, condominiums, and manufacturing facilities. With over 30 years of experience in the AEC industry, Tom employs effective time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills. He becomes heavily invested in a project’s various phases, such as schematic design, design development, construction documents, and consultant coordination, with a focus on project document production and management. Tom is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and is CDT certified. He is also a Revit Certified Professional and proficient with project development and management software packages such as AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Procore. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Tom’s interests include photography, home remodeling projects, computer programming, and spending quality time with family and friends.
