Master of Architecture
University of South Florida
Veronica Morillo, originally from the Dominican Republic, lived there until the age of 14 before relocating with her family to South Florida in 2013. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, where she was accepted into the architecture program and earned her Master’s degree in Architecture in May 2025. Veronica believes that architecture is deeply intertwined with culture—it reflects identity, history, and the way people experience the world. Drawing inspiration from her Dominican heritage, she is passionate about designing spaces that celebrate community, color, vibrancy, and the warmth of shared human connection. Her goal is to create environments that honor tradition while embracing innovation, always with people and culture at the heart of her work. In her free time, Veronica enjoys traveling, going to the beach, spending time with friends, and appreciating the little things life has to offer. These experiences fuel her creativity and keep her grounded, both personally and professionally.
