Our project Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse recently opened in Tampa, Florida. This conversion of an existing ~6,150 SF restaurant space features freestanding tables that allow for the rodizio-style dining experience with tableside service of fire-roasted meats. An air-temperature controlled display of 800 wine bottles will serve as a focal point. The warm light fixtures sparkle and add a starry night effect and the variety of textures and subtle patterns create layers of depth in the space. Local artist Marc De Waele of Art Symphony Inc was commissioned for the metal branch sculpture suspended above the salad bar. He also created a custom horse painting on wood paneling at the entrance, which speaks to the old tradition of Gauchos (Southern Brazilian Cowboys) roaming the land to herd cattle.
