BDG Architects has an immediate need for a talented, creative, and motivated Project Architect. This is a full-time position that will be based out of our Birmingham, Alabama office. A minimum of 7 years of experience and license to practice architecture within an NCARB jurisdiction of the United States is required. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience and proficiency in Revit is required.  License is not required at this time but a degree from an accredited school of architecture is required. Interior Designer
BDG Architects has an opening for an Interior Designer to join our Birmingham office. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.  A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience is preferred. Applicant must demonstrate an ability to perform a variety of interior design project assignments under the general supervision of a senior project manager. The Interior Designer will have direct working contact with client representatives to develop functional, sustainable and aesthetic designs. Responsibilities will focus on program development, space planning, construction documents, FF&E selection/specification, development of sketches and renderings and coordination with interior design elements on architecture projects. Project types will include Workplace, Multi-Family, and Hospitality.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of design trends, construction methods, and material applications.

Healthcare Project Manager

 

BDG Architects has an immediate need for an Architectural Healthcare Project Manager working from our Mineola, NY office. Candidate must be a 4 year architectural degree graduate with 5+ years of experience (post-graduation) in a commercial architecture office. A minimum of 2 years of solid healthcare architectural project management experience is required.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in areas such as ambulatory centers, imaging centers, emergency rooms & medical office buildings. Knowledge in other areas as well as industries is a plus.  The candidate will need a proven track record in completing full sets of CDs for interior fit-outs and ground-up projects as well as managing project schedules, budgets and subcontractors.

Requirements of Architectural Healthcare Project Manager:

  • Minimum 4 year Architectural Degree
  • 5 + years of experience (post-graduation) in a commercial architecture firm with a focus on healthcare
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in healthcare project management inclusive of project planning and managing schedules, budgets and sub-contractors

BDG Architects is currently seeking a skilled, imaginative, and driven Project Manager to join our team in our Northeast studio. This full-time position will be situated in our Mineola, NY office. Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience.

The role will involve working on a variety of projects, including those within the Banking & Financial Services, Commercial, Retail, Hospitality, and other sectors. Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Take charge of project management to ensure timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, maintenance of high-quality standards, and fulfillment of client expectations.
  • Foster open communication channels between the project team, Principal-in-Charge, and operations management to facilitate seamless coordination and alignment of objectives.
  • Establish, refine, and uphold project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.

  • Assist in preparation of fee proposals and agreements with the owner and consultants.

  • Guarantee efficient project delivery and maintain quality standards throughout all phases, from programming to project closeout.
  • Coordinate monthly billing with accounting department.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for designated projects, fostering client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and contributing to ongoing client development. Additionally, assist in securing future project opportunities.
  • Manage and assist with work on all phases of various architectural projects including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination and correlation of construction drawings and review production drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate as a peer client liaison to aid in the development and implementation of client-established processes and procedures. The Project Manager is also responsible for generating reports to maintain clients informed about the overall program status and specific project updates.

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience and proficiency in Revit is required.  License is not required at this time but a degree from an accredited school of architecture is required. BDG Architects has an immediate need for a talented, creative and motivated individual as an Architecture Associate to work within the Program Studio team under the direct supervision of a Project Architect for a national client portfolio. This is a full-time position in our downtown Tampa office for an individual with the knowledge, experience and ability to assist the Project Architect in production and assembling of complete Contract Documents. The Candidate will need a minimum of 4 years’ experience producing Construction Documents, proficiency in Revit and preferably AutoCAD, with the ability to communicate and coordinate with Engineers. A Degree in Architecture is preferred. Licensure is not necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

  • Focus on the production of documents and associated detailing with a demonstrated ability to work on multiple repetitive projects simultaneously.

BDG Architects has an immediate need for a talented, creative, and motivated individual to work as a Senior Architecture Associate under the direct supervision of a studio team leader. The role will be based out our downtown Tampa, FL office. A minimum of 10 years of experience is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

  • Participate in the development of functional, sustainable and client inspired designs.
  • Focus on all phases of the design process including schematics, design development, and delivery of construction documents.
