A new Synovus Bank is now open in Tampa’s Carrollwood neighborhood. BDG Architects was instrumental with the design of the 3,030 square foot branch and its updated branding under the Synovus name. The BDG Architects’ Development Services Program Management team oversaw the project to ensure a smooth construction process.

Synovus Bank has opened a new branch in the Carrollwood neighborhood of Tampa.
The branch, located at 11914 North Dale Mabry Highway, has 3,030 square feet of space and offers a deposit drop, vestibule walk-up ATM and an island drive-up ATM.
The branch is Synovus' 23rd in the Tampa Bay region, making it the 11th largest bank by number of branches, according to Tampa Bay Business Journal research. With the new branch, the company now has almost 100 branches in Florida, representing almost a third of 300 branches that span its footprint across Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.
This branch is the third opened by Synovus since the bank closed on the acquisition of Florida Community Bank at the beginning of 2019, a spokesman for the bank said.
Retail Market Manager Leah Pearson will lead the branch, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, until 6 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Georgia-based Synovus (NYSE: SNV) has $2.46 billion in local deposits, according to TBBJ research. Tampa Bay deposits accounted for 6.41 percent of the bank's total deposits.
