Clearwater advances developer’s plan for affordable housing downtown

BDG Architects is honored to play a vital role in bringing more affordable housing to Downtown Clearwater. The city is moving forward with a collaboration between the city, Pinellas County and SP Clearwater, an affiliate of Southport Financial Services, to build 171 apartment units on this city-owned property at 306 S. Washington Avenue in downtown Clearwater. The $38-million project, Washington Avenue Apartments, is expected to be completed December 2022. Here are some of our latest images of the project.
