Metro 510 is a 120 unit workforce housing facility located in downtown Tampa. This unique project incorporates the adaptive re-use of the St. Paul AME Church as the clubhouse and amenity building. The St. Paul AME Church was constructed in 1913 and is listed on the City of Tampa’s Local Historic Landmarks. This unique urban infill project features an outdoor spray ground, indoor play court, “tween” room, fitness center, business center and elevated exterior courtyards. As public art, the historic stained glass windows in the church will be restored and backlit.

The latest wave of downtown residential development isn’t high-priced condominiums catering to established professionals who want to live in midtown or the Channel District. Instead, the six-story Metro 510 building at 510 E. Harrison St. offers 120-units of “work force” apartments near the Marion Street Transit Center on the north side of downtown.
