BDG Architects facilitated the refresh of Amalie Arena (formerly the Tampa Bay Times Forum) to position it as a prime location for the 2012 Republican National Convention. The $40 million dollar full renovation of Amalie Arena for the Tampa Bay Lighting included scopes on both the interior and exterior of the arena. Areas of note include an elevated party deck on the 4th level roof, full renovation of all suites and club areas, and a new entry pavilion and box office.
