This shopping center is located on Kennedy Boulevard, one of the main arteries of Tampa, Florida. Originally built in the late 1960’s, the aging building was partially unoccupied and in need of a major renovation. The modern transformation splits the center into two buildings connected by a covered breezeway which created two new “In-Caps” and outdoor seating. The project also resulted in upgraded parking, lighting and landscaping.
Introducing the In Cap: a term that is being coined – and actually trademarked – by Tampa, Fla.–based BDG Architects.
BDG Architects is working with Pappas & Pupello Development to completely transform the aging retail center at 4001 W. Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa.
