The Rivergate Tower is a true classic in architecture, being Tampa’s only cylindrical sky scraper designed as a modern sundial in the urban landscape. To celebrate the measures of time in concentric circles on the floor and ceiling the interior design is cultivated by the curved interior walls. A refresh of the Rivergate Tower ground floor was performed on the rotunda, former banking cube, a local coffee shop installation as a lobby space amenity, and the management office. A unique design element was the conversion of a space from a bank with giant vault into the buildings management office and tenant meeting space. The design provides this major multi-tenant building with a new, vibrant and energetic public space amenity that respects the original architecture of the building while adding a fresh new space that adds value to the tenant experience.
