Our team was retained to design this $11,357,157 project for Pinellas County School Board. The project consisted of 72,000 sq. ft. of new construction providing administration areas, classrooms, a cafetorium, multi-purpose room, music, art, and PE spaces. This project also included 12,800 sq. ft. of renovations to the existing media center and ESE buildings. In addition, we completed the site work for new athletic fields, playgrounds, parking, bus and parent pick-up loops. The school's chronic flooding problem was corrected by raising the site above the 100-year flood plain in this low-lying area of northeast St. Petersburg. This project was the recipient of the following awards:
First Place for Outstanding Achievement - Elementary/Middle Schools - Florida Educational Facilities Planners' Association
Architectural Showcase - 2005
