Melissa made the transition from Florida’s Space Coast to join BDG Architects in 2017. During her academic journey at the University of Florida, she had the privilege of participating in the Vicenza Institute of Architecture program in Italy for two semesters. Initially, as an undergraduate student, and subsequently as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Melissa gained valuable leadership experience through teaching. Her professional background, prior to joining our firm, was significantly shaped by her work with a small firm, where she made meaningful contributions to a diverse range of projects spanning educational, residential, and commercial domains.
