BDG Architects worked with Strategic Property Partners and design architect "GroundSwell" to realize their vision of revitalizing the former Channelside Bay Plaza to create an interactive open park space with fantastic western water views. BDG designed the Fermented Reality Biergarten Pavilion which features 30 rotating taps highlighting Tampa Bay's craft-beer culture. Our team acted as the Architect-of-Record for the project and provided site observation to coordinate the construction and implementation of the design including a unique application of shipping containers used as food outlets featuring some of the top chefs in Tampa, as well as the activity spaces, a stage and the LED video screen for community events including Tampa Bay Lighting watch parties.
